Make Your BusinessAI-Compatible
We roll out the red carpet for AI searches — laying out the framework that lets modern AI search engines discover and crawl your brand without friction. Your customers don't only use Google anymore; more and more they ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Grok who to hire, and take the first name they hear. We fix that, and we send you the receipts every month.

A straight promise
Anyone who guarantees you the top of ChatGPT's answer is guessing — nobody controls what AI recommends, and nobody honest claims to. What can be controlled is whether AI can read you at all — so that's what we build: structured data, clean crawler access, server-rendered pages, an identity a machine can verify. Then we ask the AI about you every month and send you its actual answer — even the months it's not flattering.
Grade A
What a finished job looks like
We graded this client's site, fixed what it found, and graded it again.
Impact Volleyball Club scored 88 the first time — the report named a slow image, a missing cookie notice, and content AI couldn't quote. We fixed all three. Same test, one day later: 95, an A. That whole loop is what you're buying, and it starts with knowing your own number.
What our clients say
“Bill built Impact Volleyball Club's website from scratch, and it just works — the layout is modern and unique. I wanted to stand out and he made it happen. I wanted an administrative back end to run all the logistics, and he did everything I asked and more. Parents find tryouts, sign-ups, everything, without calling me. He graded it, fixed what was wrong, and had it scoring an A the next day.”
— Jodie, Director, Impact Volleyball Club
Here's it working, for a real client
Recorded AI answer
We asked an AI assistant, out loud, what a customer would ask:
"What's the best Christian homeschool sports league near Sacramento?"
"The standout option right in the Sacramento area is West Coast Impact… For hoops and volleyball, West Coast Impact is your best bet locally… I'd recommend reaching out directly through their site."
West Coast Impact is ours. We built their site so AI could read it — and when a parent asks that question, the AI hands them West Coast Impact by name and points them at the door. That's the whole job. We make you the answer.
The website just changed jobs
For twenty years a website was a business card you paid to keep online.
A website used to be a face. Something to look at, so people believed you were real. It sat there. You paid for it once, you showed it to your family, and it did nothing else for five years.
Now it is the first thing an AI reads before it decides whether to say your name out loud. It is where a customer at ten at night gets an answer instead of a voicemail. It is the record of who found you and how they got there. It stopped being a picture of your business and started being a working part of it — one that keeps going while you are on a job, asleep, or at your kid's game.
The old way — a face
- •Built once, then left alone for years
- •Judged by whether you liked how it looked
- •Found only if someone already knew your name
- •Silent — it never told you anything
- •A cost you kept paying out of obligation
Turn the card over
The new way — a working asset
- ✓Tended every month, because the ground keeps moving
- ✓Judged by machines that decide who gets recommended
- ✓Read by AI assistants that hand customers your name
- ✓Reports back — who read it, who it sent you, what AI says
- ✓An asset that earns its keep, like a good employee
Same website. Completely different job.
That is the whole reason we are a monthly service and not a one-time build. The launch sets the stage; monthly optimization drives the results.
How it works
Three things, every month.
01
We find out where you stand
A graded audit across eight factors — speed, security, accessibility, legal exposure, design credibility, conversion, Google, and AI readability. Then we put the question a customer would ask to an AI and show you, word for word, what it said. Most owners have never seen either number, and both are costing them today.
02
We make your site readable to AI
AI can't recommend what it can't read. We add the hidden labels that tell it what you do, where you are, and who you serve — then keep them current as AI keeps changing.
03
We prove it, in writing
One email a month: how many times AI read your site, who it sent you, and what it says about you now. If nothing's improving, you'll see that too — and you can walk.

The Website Evaluation
A plain-English report card on your website — and proof of what AI says about you today.
- ✓A graded audit of the eight factors that determine whether a customer ever reaches you — speed, security, accessibility, legal exposure, design credibility, conversion, Google, and AI readability. Every failing grade is business going somewhere else today.
- ✓We ask an AI who to hire in your line of work — and show you its actual answer
- ✓A short list of what to fix first, in the order that matters

And it's not just a report card: what the evaluation flags, we get to work fixing.
Our promise
Everything we sell is month to month, because we never want a contract doing our job for us — we want to be working for you, every month, and earning the next one. This is not a build-your-website, see-you-later shop. We want your business to grow, because that's the only way ours does.
No lock-in means the pressure is on us, every month, forever. That's how we want it.
Day one
Evaluation included free. No long-term contract.
Every month
Real work you can see in your report — you always know what you paid for.
Every year
Your site keeps pace as AI keeps changing — you never fall behind again.
Seasonal trade? Different business model? Other plans are available to fit how your business actually earns — call us and we'll shape one.
Build your plan
Pick what you need. Watch the price.
No packages to decode and no quotes to wait for. Choose, and the total updates as you go.
Step 1 — choose your plan
- ✓The AI layer, hand-coded for your business — the labels that tell ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Grok what you do, where you are, and who you serve
- ✓We keep that layer current as AI changes — new AI engines appear almost monthly
- ✓We count the AI robots reading your site and every customer an AI sends you — and if your website platform hides part of that traffic, we tell you up front what we can and can't see
- ✓One plain-English report a month. This plan watches and proves — that is its whole job
Step 2 — one-time repairs
Optional. Take all 8 and the price drops to $1795 — or pick Website + AI and every one of them is included free.
Step 3 — there is no step 3
A 6-month start. Then month to month.
Here's the honest reason for the 6-month start: your $199 evaluation comes free and we install real, hand-coded work on your site in the first weeks — the run is what makes that fair to both of us. After month 6 it rolls month to month and you can leave any month by email. If you have a seasonal business or a different model, call us — other plans are available to fit how your business actually earns.
Your plan
AI Visibility · 6-month start, then month to month
$9.99/mo
6-month start earns your free evaluation — month to month after that
You're saving $199
Seasonal or tight budget?
Landscapers, tax preparers, coaches — plenty of good businesses don't earn evenly across twelve months, and we don't think that should price you out. Call us and ask about seasonal or alternative pricing. We'll work something out.
Card payments are processed by Square on our own page — you are never sent to another website, and we never see or store your card number. Cancel anytime by email.
What about Google?
Done once.Read twice.
People assume this is either-or — that chasing AI means giving up on Google. It isn't, and we wouldn't. Google is still where most searching happens. The good news is that both read your site looking for the same things: clear structure, honest labels about who you are, real answers to real questions, and pages that load fast. Fix that once and you are speaking to both of them.
The labels
Structured data tells Google what kind of business you are — and it is the exact thing AI reads before it recommends anyone.
The answers
Written answers to the questions your customers actually ask. Google has indexed that kind of page for years. AI quotes it.
The speed
Google measures how fast your pages load, and so does every visitor. Most people give up on a page that takes more than about three seconds — that is a customer who never even saw you.
Does hand-written code help you get found?
Yes — but not the way people claim.
Nobody ranks higher just for writing code by hand, and we are not going to tell you otherwise. What pure code does is remove the handicaps a page builder puts in your way — and with AI in particular, those handicaps are severe:
- ✓Nothing hidden behind machinery. Many builders assemble your page in the visitor's browser. Search and AI crawlers often don't run that machinery — so what they see can be a fraction of what you see.
- ✓You are simply faster. A page builder loads its whole machinery on every visit whether your page needs it or not. Ours loads your page and nothing else. That is a real, measurable head start — Google grades speed, and a customer who waits three seconds usually does not wait four.
- ✓Files most builders forbid. The crawler rules and the plain-English summary AI looks for have to sit at the root of your domain. Most builders will not let anyone put them there. We can.
Every website runs the same race.A pure-code website runs it in running shoes. A page-builder site runs it in work boots.
And the part we will not oversell: what still decides who wins is the words on your pages and your reputation with real customers. We handle the shoes, and we help with the rest — but anyone promising you the top of Google is selling something nobody can deliver.
What this normally costs
We were quotedover $8,000 for one site.
That is a real quote, for a real site — one we ended up building and running ourselves. It is not an outrageous price either. That is roughly what a custom website costs from an agency, and most of them do good work for it. We just think there is a better way to pay for it.
| The usual way | With us | |
|---|---|---|
| To get started | $5,000 – $10,000+ up front | $199 |
| Every month after | $100 – $300 for hosting and upkeep | $125, everything in |
| The repairs it needs | Billed separately, often $1,500+ | All seven included ($1,993 menu) |
| Small changes | Billed, or you wait for a work order | Free — bigger work quoted |
| Bigger work | Hourly, and the clock is theirs | Quoted in writing before it starts |
| Written so AI can read it | Usually not offered at all | The whole point, with proof monthly |
The usual way, first year
~$9,800
An $8,000 build plus $150 a month to keep it alive.
With us, first year
$1,699
$199 to start, then $125 a month. Repairs included.
And the extras they bill for
The build quote is only the opening number. Everything below is normally an add-on, an upsell, or an hourly invoice — and good developers charge fairly for all of it, because it is real work. We fold every line into the $125/mo.
| The extra | What it typically costs | With us |
|---|---|---|
| Hosting + SSL certificate | $20–$60/mo | Included |
| 24/7 uptime monitoring — your site checked every 15 minutes | $10–$30/mo | Included |
| Maintenance and software updates | $50–$150/mo | Included |
| Security monitoring and hardening | $25–$100/mo | Included |
| Backups | $10–$30/mo | Included |
| Content changes | $75–$150 per hour | Small changes free — bigger work quoted |
| Speed / performance work | $300–$1,000 | Included |
| ADA accessibility repairs | $500–$3,000 | Included |
| Privacy policy and legal pages | $200–$500 | Included |
| Basic search setup (titles, sitemap, Search Console) | $500–$1,500 | Included |
| Ongoing SEO campaigns (articles, link building) | $500–$1,500/mo | Only if you need it — quoted first |
| A redesign down the road | $500–$2,000 | Quoted in writing — never hourly |
| Google Business Profile setup | $200–$400 | Included |
| Analytics and a monthly report | $50–$100/mo | Included |
| AI-readable markup and monitoring | Rarely offered at all | The whole point |
| The monthly AI mystery shopper | Nobody else does this | Included |
Add up just the recurring rows — hosting, maintenance, security, backups, reporting — and the going rate is roughly $155–$440 every month before a single one-time project or an hour of changes. Our whole plan, with all of it inside, is $125.
And here is the honest catch, because there is one. Pay an agency five figures and you usually own the code at the end. Pay us $125 a month and you do not — the engineering stays ours. That is the whole trade, and it is exactly why the number is what it is. You hold the keys to your site; we keep the blueprints. If you would rather own it outright, ask and we will quote that too.
The quiet difference
Your website is written,not assembled.
Here's what nobody in this business says out loud: most “custom” websites today are nobody's custom anything. They're a template picked from a menu, filled in through a drag-and-drop builder, and propped up by a stack of plugins — the same skeleton under thousands of other businesses. It works, roughly, until it doesn't.
We don't do that. Every site we build is hand-written in pure code by a developer. No page builder, no template, no plugin stack. It's the difference between a suit off the rack and one cut to you — and it's why the rest of what we promise actually holds up:
Fast
No builder bloat dragging every page. Real code loads in a blink, and speed is a grade Google and your visitors both give you.
Secure
No plugin stack means no plugin holes. Most hacked small-business sites get in through an outdated plugin — we simply don't have any.
Readable to AI
Builders bury your business under layers of machinery AI can't see through. Clean code is why AI can actually read — and recommend — you.
That's also why the code is proprietary and stays ours — it's real engineering, not a template anyone could re-download. You get the full benefit of it every month it works for you, which brings us to the next thing we'd rather say out loud than bury in fine print.
The part nobody warns you about
Right now, something istrying your front door.
It isn't a person. It's a machine — and it does not care that you're a small business.
Every website on the internet is being probed around the clock by automated bots. They aren't hunting for you by name. They're scanning for a version number — an out-of-date plugin, an admin login page, a hole somebody forgot to patch. They never sleep, they never get bored, and they never skip a business for being small. Small is what makes you cheap to attack.
And it rarely looks dramatic. It looks like your own site quietly serving scam pages to your customers, a red warning screen from Google standing between you and every visitor, your search rankings gone, your email dropping into junk folders — and you paying someone to clean it up while the phone stops ringing.
How yours is different
Security isn't something we add. It's the parts we leave out.
No door to rattle
There is no login page sitting on the public internet. The most common attack in the world is guessing a password — on your site there is nothing to guess at.
No plugins to rot
The most common way small business sites get breached is an add-on nobody updated. Your site has no plugin stack, so it cannot have that problem.
Nothing to steal
No passwords, no card numbers, no customer database sitting there waiting. Payments never touch your website at all.
Nothing to trick
Your pages are hand-written code, served ready-made. No machinery idles on your site waiting to be talked into running a stranger's instructions.
We spend our days deciding which robots get into your website. The AI assistants that recommend you — we roll out the carpet. Everything else — we shut the door. It's the same skill, pointed in two directions.
And someone is actually watching
Your site is checked every 15 minutes. Around the clock.
Not “we'll look into it when you call.” Automatic checks, 96 times a day, every day — and the moment your site stops answering, we know, usually before you or your customers do. Most small-business sites have nobody watching at all.
The half nobody tells you
And every feature is another door.
As we build, you'll want things — a customer login, online payments, a booking calendar, file uploads, a chat widget, a review feed. Every one of them is useful. Every one of them is also another door someone can try, and another thing that has to be watched from the day it goes live. A simpler site is a safer site, and the safest site is the one that never got a door it did not need.
So we'll tell you the trade-off before we build a thing, not after it goes wrong — what it adds for your customers, and what it costs you in exposure. Sometimes the right answer is yes and we lock it down properly. Sometimes it is “you don't need that, and here's what it would cost you.” We would rather sell you less and keep you safe.
Don't take our word for it.
Run any site we've built through the very same security test we grade your site with. We score an A. Most sites we evaluate score an F, and their owners have no idea.
Your evaluation shows exactly where you stand today — and if it's bad news, the fix is included in your plan.
Plain dealing
You hold the keys.We keep the blueprints.
A custom website and a maintained AI setup is normally a five-figure build. You're getting it for the price of a phone bill, and there's an honest reason why: you're renting the work, not purchasing it. We'd rather charge everyone a little every month than charge one person a fortune up front.
Always yours
- ✓Your domain name, registered in your name — never ours
- ✓Your words, photos, and logo
- ✓Your customer list and business data
- ✓Anything you owned before us
Stays ours
- •The proprietary code we wrote — every line, hand-built
- •The AI setup and everything maintaining it
- •Our tools and reporting systems
- •The hosting it all runs on
Put plainly: you hold the keys to your own site. Your domain is in your name, your content and customer data are yours to take any day you ask, and we can never hold your business hostage to get you to stay. What stays with us is the engineering — the blueprints, not your house.
We tell you this before you sign, not after. No surprises, no fine print, no argument on the way out.
What we don't do
We don't follow youaround the internet.
Almost every website you visited today put something on your computer to recognise you later, and sold what it learned. We looked at what that buys a business like ours and decided it wasn't worth what it costs you. So this page carries none of it.
Not on this site
- ✕No tracking cookies

- ✕No cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to
What we do count
- ✓How many people opened a page
- ✓Which country and device, roughly
- ✓Whether an AI assistant sent someone here
Counts, not people. None of it names you, follows you to the next website, or lasts after you close the tab.
Don't take our word for it — that would be against the whole point. Open your browser's privacy tools on this page and count the trackers yourself.
We hold your business to the same standard. Any site we build for you starts with none of this either, unless you ask for it and we tell you what it costs your customers.
Straight answers
Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend me?
No — and be careful with anyone who says they can. What we can promise: right now AI may not be able to read your site at all. We fix that, then show you exactly what changes each month. If nothing improves, you'll see it in your own report and you can cancel.
Why is this a monthly service and not a one-time job?
Because AI keeps changing. New AI engines appear almost monthly, and what they read changes with them. A one-time fix is out of date within a year. We keep your site current as the ground moves.
Am I locked into a contract?
Almost never — everything runs month to month and you can leave any month by email. The one exception, stated up front: AI Visibility begins as a 6-month run, because your free $199 evaluation and the hand-coded AI layer are real work delivered in the first weeks. After month 6, it rolls month to month too.
What happens if I leave?
Everything you brought goes with you — your domain, your content, your photos, your brand, your customer data. What we built stays ours: the website code, the AI setup, and the tools behind it. You'll get that in plain English before you ever sign, and a written summary of exactly what's whose if the day comes.
Why the name Berean?
Acts 17:11 — the Bereans checked everything for themselves instead of taking a claim on faith. That's how we report. Every number we show you is Google's or the AI's own, and every report carries a code that proves it wasn't edited after the fact.
Who you're hiring

Bill J.
One person, on purpose. I write every site by hand in real code, and the name on the work is mine. I also run West Coast Impact — a Sacramento youth sports league of about 480 athletes — and built its website and Impact Volleyball Club's, which is why they're the proof on this page instead of stock photos.
The name comes from Acts 17:11 — the Bereans checked everything for themselves instead of taking a claim on faith. That's the standard here: every number in your report is Google's or the AI's own, never mine, and you're always free to verify it.

Questions people ask
Straight answers.
- What does making my business AI-compatible actually mean?
- It means your website is written and marked up so ChatGPT, Perplexity, Grok, and Google’s AI can read it, understand who you are and what you do, and quote you when someone asks for a business like yours. Most sites were never built with that in mind.
- How much does it cost?
- AI Visibility is $9.99 a month. A complete custom-coded website — with every repair from your evaluation included — is $125 a month plus a one-time $199 setup. The $199 website evaluation is free when you start any plan. No long-term contracts.
- Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend my business?
- No — and nobody honestly can, because how the assistants rank what they read is not published by anyone. What is certain is the other half: a site AI cannot read cannot be recommended at all. We fix that, then measure what the AI actually says about you every month and send you the answer.
- Do I own my website?
- Everything you brought is yours. Your domain stays registered in your name, and your content, photos, logo, and customer data are yours to take any day you ask — we will never hold them to keep you. The website code and the AI layer we build stay ours, licensed to you while your plan runs; that is what keeps the price at a monthly rate instead of a five-figure build. If you leave, you take your domain, your content, and your data, and we help you move them.
- Do you only work with businesses near Sacramento?
- No. We are based in the Sacramento area of California, but the work is remote by nature — we serve small businesses anywhere in the United States.
